Rod chokes
High-frequency chokes
The high-frequency chokes are the self-contained on the rod ferrite cores with a low inductivity. At the chokes for a big current loading the core oversaturation does not happen not even at the maximal service current. The chokes are usually used for suppression of the small motors supply circuits, electric appliances motors and electric motors in car industry.
Radial chokes
The radial chokes consist of ferrite core (usually in form of dumbbell), winding and a plastic enclosure. They have a robust ferrite core and so they reach to bigger inductivities - tens of mH.
